required. Fusing Hummon’s Nashville warmth with Shwayze’s breezy West Coast energy, the

track blends country and coastal cool into an irresistible feel-good groove.

“The moment we started writing ‘Staycation,’ I knew it needed a fun, summertime feature,” said Hummon. “Shwayze was the first name that came to mind—I’ve been a fan since my college days, blasting ‘Buzzin’ and ‘Corona and Lime.’ I reached out through our mutual friend Nick Bailey, and luckily, Shwayze was down to jump on the track and added some signature lyrics that took it to a new level. This is easily one of my favorite collaborations, and I can’t wait for everyone to add it to their summer playlists.”

With clever lyrics, smooth beats, and undeniable summertime vibes, “Staycation” delivers a

three-day-weekend state of mind in just under three minutes. It’s the latest chapter for Hummon, whose career continues to evolve with genre-blending collaborations and streaming success.

“Staycation” marks the first new music from Hummon since the release of his Bet On Me EP last fall and kicks off a summer filled with new tunes from the rising hitmaker.

Offstage, Hummon recently celebrated another major milestone, marrying longtime love

Kearsten Kochan on June 14 in an intimate beachside ceremony at the Key Largo Lighthouse. The couple, who got engaged in May 2024, hosted a three-day celebration that gave friends and family time to unwind, connect, and toast to the newlyweds, making “Staycation” the perfect soundtrack to this new chapter.
