Hunter Hawkins Releases Kenny Loggins-Penned “Love Will Follow”

Hunter Hawkins puts an ethereal, cinematic spin on a song Kenny Loggins wrote with Tom Snow for 1985’s Vox Humana, the latest preview of the forthcoming debut album AWAKE.

Singer-songwriter, actor and filmmaker Hunter Hawkins has released “Love Will Follow,” a collaboration with legendary producer Kenny Loggins. The song was originally written by Loggins and Tom Snow for Loggins’ 1985 album Vox Humana.

Hawkins’ rendition sets an ethereal vocal performance over a lush, cinematic arrangement that builds from quiet beginnings, exploring emotional vulnerability and the courage to trust in love’s possibilities. “The music itself worked its magic on me, and the whole project has been about trusting its own wisdom,” Hawkins said.

The track is the latest collaboration between Hawkins and Loggins, who is producing Hawkins’ forthcoming debut album AWAKE, expected in 2027 and also featuring “Here Now” and “Seeking Release (reimagined by Kenny Loggins).”
