Self-proclaimed “song farmer,” Nashville-based singer/songwriter Amy Stroup creates the kinds of songs that transport listeners with their sim- ple, yet emotionally expansive lyrics. If you have streamed a show or movie in recent history you have undoubtedly heard her songs in dozens of on-screen moments. Stroup cites This Is Us, Grey’s Anatomy, and Disney’s Willow as stand outs among her list of sync placements. Accord- ing to Billboard Magazine, she is one of the most licensed females today with her work in cam- paigns for British Airways, Google and Nike to name a few. Her voice has provided the backing to nearly one thousand TV/film moments.

Additional examples of brands who have featured Amy’s music includes, Apple, Samsung, Calvin Klein, Lexus and Gatorade, along with many others.

A prolific collaborator, Stroup teamed up with Andrew Simple to record as Danger Twins. You have likely heard their songs (ie. “Thing of Beauty”) on TikTok, Instagram Reels, or in an ad for your favorite phone or sneaker. She just finished recording her fourth studio solo album with producer Chad Copelin (Lany, SYML, Shawn Mendes) that will be released in June 2023.

Stroup is a co-creator of Sugar & The Hi-Lows, a playfully retro duo that Rolling Stone said “built a bridge between the rootsy stomp of early Sun Records tunes and the harmonized swoon of old Brill Building pop songs.” With a live show to match their undeniable charm, the pair earned dates with the likes of Chris Stapleton, Kings of Leon, Kacey Musgraves, and Ingrid Michaelson, as well as festival appearances from Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits to Cayamo.

Stroup also co-founded Milkglass Creative which provides branding and design services for many A-List clients including Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town, and Thomas Rhett among them.
