NASHVILLE, TN – Jonas Catalog Holdings 1 (JCH1) is acquiring a significant portion of the Jonas Brothers’ music catalog, in a landmark transaction marking a major milestone in preserving and advancing the legacy of one of the most successful pop groups of the 21st century.

The Jonas Brothers acquisition includes the group’s two most recent albums, Happiness Begins and The Album, which feature global hits such as the 5x Platinum “Sucker” (over two billion global streams), “Only Human” (approaching one billion streams), and fan favorite “Waffle House” (over 200 million streams). Also included is the holiday hit “Like It’s Christmas” (over 600 million streams) and the Olympic anthem “Remember This,” which was performed live during the closing ceremony of the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo.

“The foundation for every successful artist is the song, and Nick, Joe, and Kevin are extraordinary songwriters,” said Leslie T. DiPiero, President of Jonas Group Publishing. “Their music has touched and inspired a generation of fans and fellow artists. It’s a privilege to welcome this body of work into the JGP family.”

“Joining forces with Jonas Group Entertainment feels like coming full circle,” said the Jonas Brothers. “We are passionate about songwriting and the creative process, and Leslie DiPiero has always been a true champion for songwriters and creators. We look forward to working with her and the team.”

George Kreis, President of Jonas Group Entertainment, called the move “a significant and especially meaningful acquisition” for Jonas Catalog Holdings, Jonas Group Publishing, and Red Van Records. “This catalog represents not just incredible commercial success, but cultural impact. Leslie and Kevin Jonas Sr. continue to lead with heart, vision, and a deep belief in creators, and this catalog joins a dynamic roster that already includes Rhett Akins, Julia Michaels, Danger Twins/Amy Stroup, Justin Ebach, RaeLynn, David Kalmusky, Terri Jo Box, and more.”

The strategic alliance comes in conjunction with celebrating 20 years of the Jonas Brothers. They kicked off 2025 with JonasCon, a massive gathering with fans in their home state of New Jersey. Their new album, Greetings From Your Hometown, drops August 8th, followed by a North American tour kicking off August 10th in their hometown at MetLife Stadium. They’ll close out the year by producing and starring as fictionalized versions of themselves in a Disney+ holiday comedy that follows their chaotic journey from London to New York as they race to make it home in time for Christmas.

As an extension of their music and influence, the Jonas Brothers have built a dynamic portfolio of brand partnerships and investments that reflect their personal style and fan connection. Their ventures include Backstage Popcorn, Ember temperature-controlled mugs, OLIPOP functional sodas, Nellie’s Southern Kitchen, and more—each aligned with their lifestyle and commitment to quality experiences both on and off the stage.

“The Jonas Brothers ' catalog, creativity, and work ethic embody the spirit of what we champion,” said Kreis. “As we continue to expand and strengthen our publishing, recording, and management footprint, JGE remains deeply committed to nurturing the talent, heart, music, and hustle that drive everything we do.”

The acquisition was executed by JCH1, an investment entity founded by Kevin Jonas Sr. focused on strategic catalog acquisitions and long-term intellectual property in partnership with his Jonas Group Entertainment Holdings (JGEH) company.  JCH1 recently closed an up to $300 million catalog acquisition platform. JGEH will oversee and serve as the exclusive manager of the acquired assets, overseeing administration, synchronization, licensing, and catalog development on behalf of JCH1. The platform previously acquired the catalog of Julia Michaels, and inked joint catalog and future deals with Rhett Akins, Danger Twins/Amy Stroup, and Justin Ebach.

Corrum Capital, which has a 10+ year history financing the music and content industry with unique purpose-built structures, led the debt financing in JCH I.  Corrum Capital’s senior team, led by co-managing partner Jonathan Mandle, had a significant role in the overall structuring of JCH 1. Additional members of the debt syndicate include Bardin Hill, Cliffwater, and One William Street.

Working alongside JCH1 to provide guidance and counsel has been Access Media Advisory (“AMA”), a specialist media and entertainment corporate finance advisory firm and merchant bank, founded and run by Teresa Miles Walsh.

ABOUT JONAS BROTHERS:

Standing out as one of the most successful groups of the 21st century, Jonas Brothers—Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas—have sold north of 20 million albums and counting, garnered two GRAMMY® Award nominations, earned 26 Billboard Hot 100 hits, logged three consecutive #1 debuts on the Billboard 200, and generated billions of streams. Among many accolades, they’ve recently claimed a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2019, they notably ignited the comeback of the decade with their Platinum-Certified Republic Records debut, Happiness Begins. It yielded the history-making, 5x-Platinum smash “Sucker,” which minted them as “the first group in the 21st century to debut at #1 on the Hot 100,” exploded as the “longest running #1 Pop Airplay Single of 2019,” and received a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.” Bowing at #1 on the Billboard 200, Happiness Begins impressively scored the “biggest sales week of 2019 at time of release” and housed the Double-Platinum “Only Human” and Platinum “Cool.” The band supported the album with the worldwide “Happiness Begins Tour”—selling over 1.2 million tickets—and the Amazon Original documentaries Chasing Happiness and Happiness Continues. Along the way, the members simultaneously juggled prolific solo careers extending into television, film, and successful business ventures. In 2023, Jonas Brothers once again proved they are a constant force, embarking on a new era with the release of The Album, via Republic Records. The Album was produced by Jon Bellion and features hit singles “Waffle House” and “Wings.” In support of the new album and this new era for Jonas Brothers, they kicked off “The Tour” with two sold-out shows at New York’s iconic Yankee Stadium. “The Tour” included stadium and arena dates around the globe through 2024, resulting in the band’s biggest and most extensive tour to date. 2025 marks a special year for Jonas Brothers as they celebrate their 20th anniversary as a band. To kick off the year, Jonas Brothers recently released a new single “Slow Motion” with producer Marshmello and hosted JONASCON, a special one-day event that took place in their home state of New Jersey in celebration of the band’s incredible two decades. The band is set to release their forthcoming album, Greetings From Your Hometown, on August 8 before kicking off their North American tour at MetLife Stadium on August 10.
